Management Team

A Management Team with Vision, Intelligence and Experience.

Global warming is no ordinary problem. It’s the problem of our times – and our children’s times. Solving it will require the efforts of the best minds of our generation. GWSO’s two co-founders are all Ph. D.’s with areas of specialty perfectly matched to the business. All have stellar academic and business credentials and track records. And all have pledge their lives to and staked their reputations on the success of this business and its ability to reverse the deadliest trend on the planet today.

Vladimir Vasilenko, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer
Vladimir Vasilenko was appointed as our President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Warming Solutions, Inc. in (months?) 2006. Dr. Vasilenko received a Master of Science degree in 1987 in Biology at St. Petersburg State University. His Ph. D. in plant physiology from Lomonosov Moscow State University and awarded in 1992. Vladimir gained research experience at the Russian Academy of Sciences, within the Institute of Plant Physiology and the General Physics Institute. He discovered principles of action of near infrared light upon plants while working at the laboratory of Nobel Prize Laureate Alexander M. Prokhorov (1990-1998). As a research fellow, Vladimir supported the biological side of Prokhorov’s research initiatives related to the application of lasers in environmental technologies and plant agriculture.   As a research associate in the Department of Environmental Biology at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Vasilenko became involved in a government funded research project called Tomatosphere. Dr. Vasilenko developed a treatment for tomato seeds and the objective was to see if the growth of the seedlings in outer space mirrored the growth of seedlings as observed by students across Canada who received both treated seeds and untreated seeds to carry out controls. Dr. Vasilenko presented seminars at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center seminars concerned the effects of light and plant growth substances on plants. In 2004, Dr. Vasilenko participated in the First World Conference on Organic Seed; the conference was held in Rome, Italy and sponsored by the Food Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. The topic of his presentation concerned the application of light and natural compositions as part of a new seed treatment technology. RESEARCH INTERESTS: 1.) Interaction between light and plant growth substances in the plants; 2.) Effect of near infrared radiation upon seed germination and physiological process of growth and photosynthesis of green plants. 3.) Synergism and interaction between red light, Humic and Fulvic acids in the processes of seed germination, plant growth and development. 4.) Effect of environmental factors on production and utilization of carbon monoxide by plants. 5.) Application of coherent radiations in plant breeding technologies. 6.) Principles of application of humic substances in hydroponics; 7.) Development of selective and environmentally friendly herbicides. 8.) Humates and soil remediation. Dr. Vasilenko has authored and co-authored nearly 30 scientific and educational publications.
Artem Madatov
Chief Scientific Officer
Artem Madatov was appointed as our Chief Scientist at “Global Warming Solutions”, Inc. on June 27, 2008. Mr.Madatov has been a private investor focusing on the technology of conversion of renewable energy and energy of carbonaceous wastes. Madatov is PhD in chemical engineering, has more 25 inventions. A.Madatov has 30 years experience in development, building and exploitation of chemical and energetical plants. New projects which are developed by A. Madatov: 1. Utilization of mixed waste plastic into row materials for new plastic production. 2. Innovative sorbent for oil spill elimination. 3. New robot for diamond cutting. 4. Computer system for non-removable marking and instant identification of objects.
